Go, Make Disciples
YIM is the evangelism and church planting initiative of the Youth Ministry at TAC-Ghana Afrancho Central. Join the movement to reach the lost, plant churches, and disciple a new generation for Christ.
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
Jesus tells us to make disciples to the very end of the age. The rationale of this charge is to make others know Him, believe in Him, and by so doing have eternal life. YIM is an evangelism and church planting initiative where the young adults and campus ministry will be actively involved in evangelism drives.
Young people, being a large constituency of the Church, shall become its working force to bring about the most significant expansion ever through evangelism and discipleship. YIM will collaborate with IMED for areas to embark on the mission, but the following areas are of top priority: Jasikan (Jasikan, Kedjebi, Worawora, Abotuase, Asukokoo etc), Dambai.
Why YIM? The Great Commission is not a suggestion but a command. The Church’s future depends on the willingness of its youth to step out, share the gospel, and plant new communities of faith. YIM is designed to:
- Mobilize and train young people for effective evangelism and discipleship.
- Foster a culture of missions and outreach among the youth.
- Partner with campus fellowships and local assemblies for joint missions.
- Support church planting in unreached and priority areas.
- Provide practical opportunities for youth to serve, lead, and grow in faith.
How can you be part of YIM? Every young person can play a role — whether by going, praying, giving, or supporting those on the field. Training sessions, mission trips, and outreach events will be announced regularly. Stay connected and be ready to answer the call!
