Reflection
"Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14 declares that the pursuit of holiness is inseparable from the Christian’s desire to behold the Lord. This call is not a peripheral suggestion but a foundational mandate that frames the believer’s relationship with God, linking sanctification directly to the promise of divine encounter.
Let this truth shape our daily decisions: choose purity over compromise, cultivate a heart that mirrors Christ’s righteousness, and allow the Holy Spirit to refine our character. As we earnestly chase holiness, we can trust that God’s faithful presence will draw near, granting us the assurance that we will one day see Him face to face.
Prayer
Lord, give us the desire to chase after holiness each day, the strength to turn from anything that separates us from You, and the peace that comes from living set apart for Your glory. May our lives reflect Christ’s character. In Jesus' name, Amen.
