The Apostle Paul declares that every believer is God's workmanship, fashioned in Christ Jesus to accomplish the good works He ordained before time began. This truth lifts the ordinary to the divine, reminding us that our lives are not accidental but purpose‑filled within God's eternal plan.
Scripture Focus
Ephesians 2:10 - For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Reflection
Ephesians 2:10 reveals that salvation does not leave us idle; it equips us as a masterpiece designed for specific tasks. Our identity is rooted in being crafted by the Creator, and the works prepared for us are not random but pre‑established by His sovereign love, ensuring that each act of service reflects His character.
Living out this truth means seeking the Lord's agenda daily, aligning our talents and passions with the assignments He has set before us. As we step into those divinely prepared works, we become channels of grace in our community, and the promise of a fruitful journey encourages us to press on with hope and confidence.
Prayer
Lord, thank you for making us your masterpiece. Open our eyes to the good works you have prepared for us, empower us to walk faithfully each day, and fill us with the Holy Spirit to serve with love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
