DEVOTIONAL

Yesterday, we established that you are a sent one. The Apostolic Mandate is not reserved for pastors, evangelists, or missionaries — it belongs to every believer. But perhaps as that truth settled in your heart, a quiet fear rose alongside it. A voice that said: I am not qualified. I do not know enough. I am not ready.

If that is you, today’s word is for you.

Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He did not simply say “Go." He first said “Wait.” In Acts 1:4, He instructed His disciples to remain in Jerusalem until they received the gift the Father had promised. He knew that the mandate was too great for human effort alone. He knew that flesh and blood could not sustain what the Spirit was called to accomplish.

The Holy Spirit is not a bonus for the Christian life — He is the very engine of the Apostolic Mandate. It is His power that breaks hardened hearts. It is His voice that gives you the right words at the right moment. It is His presence that goes before you into every room, every conversation, every community.

Notice that Jesus said you will be witnesses — not that you must try hard to become one. A witness simply tells what they have seen and experienced. You do not need a theology degree to tell someone what Jesus has done in your life. You do not need a platform to point a broken person to a Saviour who heals.

The disciples waited, prayed, and were filled — and then the world was never the same again. The same Spirit that fell in the upper room in Acts 2 lives inside every born-again believer today. You carry that same power.

Go — but go knowing you are not going alone.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

1. Have you been waiting for a feeling of “readiness” before stepping into your role in God’s mission? What would it look like to trust the Holy Spirit instead?

2. What is one testimony of what God has done in your life that you could share with someone today?

3. Are you regularly spending time in prayer and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, who empowers the mandate?

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, thank You for not sending us out empty-handed. Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit — our Helper, our Comforter, and our Power. Fill us afresh today. Where there is fear, replace it with boldness. Where there is doubt, give us faith. Let us not lean on our own understanding but fully depend on Your Spirit to work through us. May TAC-GH Afrancho Central Assembly be a Spirit-filled church that fulfils its apostolic calling in this generation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DAILY CHALLENGE
